Society for Advancement of Resource-less by Training and Handholding (SAMARTH) is a not-for-profit organization committed to work with marginalized sections of the society and empower them to attain dignity and improve quality of life. Founding members of the organization have more than 15 years of work experience of development sector, working with national / international organizations. SAMARTH has worked with World bank research institute IFPRI, Indian open university IGNOU, World food program (UNWFP) and other grassroots level organizations in various states of INDIA.
SAMARTH’s primary work has revolved around managing and coordinating large and medium level development projects as well as organizing trainings and capacity building programs at grassroots level. Our overall goal is to improve social status of women and girls in the society by providing them technical knowledge to earn their livelihoods and impart knowledge to uplift their level of health and hygiene and aid progress towards their education.
